• Experienced Amazon Manager Matthias Peuckert will take over as CEO of windeln.de SE in 2018
• The Management Board contracts of the two founders and co-CEOs Konstantin Urban and Alexander Brand expire on March 31, 2018; both leave the company by mutual agreement and remain closely connected windeln.de as shareholders
• Dr. Nikolaus Weinberger (CFO) and Jürgen Vedie (COO) will continue to be members of the Executive Board

Munich, September 28, 2017: At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of windeln.de SE, one of the leading online retailers of baby and toddler products in Europe and for customers in China, appointed Mr. Matthias Peuckert as the new Chairman of the Management Board of windeln.de SE. He will initially be appointed for three years and will start working for the company in 2018. Matthias Peuckert can look back on many years of experience in the field of e-commerce. He has held various positions at Amazon since 2003 and, as one of the executives at Amazon Germany, was responsible for Core Consumables (including baby articles) Germany, Retail OPS & Initiatives Germany, Pantry EU and Pricing & Projects Germany.

The two founders and co-CEOs Konstantin Urban and Alexander Brand, whose contracts expire on March 31, 2018, will leave the Management Board of windeln.de SE as part of an orderly transition. This is done in the best agreement between all parties involved.
The contract of Dr. Nikolaus Weinberger, CFO and Member of the Executive Board, which also expires on March 31, 2018, will be extended until March 31, 2021. The contract of Jürgen Vedie, COO and member of the Executive Board, runs until 30.06.2019.

Important strategic projects such as the relocation of the central warehouse from Berlin to Eastern Europe, the integration of the Bebitus and Feedo acquisitions as well as several automation projects will of course continue unchanged.
