Change in the Supervisory Board of windeln.de SE
Munich, January 29, 2021: windeln.de SE ("windeln.de" or "Company"; ISIN DE000WNDL201 and DE000WNDL128) announces today that Tomasz Czechowicz has decided to step down as a member of the Supervisory Board and that Christian (Chris) Reitermann has been appointed by the Munich District Court as his successor to the Company's Supervisory Board.
Tomasz Czechowicz is CEO and Managing Partner of MCI Capital S.A. and Private Equity Managers S.A.. Mr. Czechowicz has been a member of the Supervisory Board since June 2017 and was a member of the Advisory Board of windeln.de prior to the IPO. Through the close and trusting cooperation with the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, Tomasz Czechowicz has supported the company in particular in recent years.
Chris Reitermann is Chief Executive Officer of the Ogilvy Group ("Ogilvy") in Asia & Greater China. He has been with Ogilvy since 1996 and has since worked for the company at various locations in Asia. In 1996 he received a degree in East Asian Business Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen. With his experience and comprehensive expertise in the field of e-commerce in China, he will optimally complement the Supervisory Board of windeln.de. It is also of great importance for the future business development of windeln.de in the China region, where more than 70% of the company's sales are generated.
The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board would like to thank Tomasz Czechowicz for his many years of valuable support and welcome Chris Reitermann to the Supervisory Board. The appointment of Chris Reitermann is also welcomed by major shareholders of the company.
